The Wetro 2.0 by Wever & Ducré is a high-quality designer luminaire with mouth-blown glass and a clear architectural appearance. As the larger version of the Wetro 1.0, it creates a stronger presence in high rooms and sophisticated interiors.
- Mouth-blown glass: Every luminaire is handcrafted and unique – Made in Italy. Subtle differences emphasise the individuality of each Wetro 2.0.
- Colour Warm Dimming: The integrated LED module offers 1800–2850 Kelvin Colour Warm Dimming. As the light is dimmed, the colour temperature becomes warmer and more atmospheric.
- Ideal for high ceilings: A 4-metre cable makes the Wetro 2.0 ideal for galleries, high ceilings and spacious living areas. The cable can be shortened during installation.
- Dimmable & flexible: Adjust the light from bright general illumination to a softer ambience.
- Easy maintenance: The control gear can be replaced by the end user, while the light source may be replaced by Wever & Ducré or authorised professionals.
- Canopy selectable separately: Different canopies are available for single or multiple suspensions and can be found under Recommended accessories.
- Architectural & refined: The larger glass form, signal-black suspension and precise craftsmanship make the Wetro 2.0 a distinctive designer pendant light.

Who is Wever & Ducré?

What makes Wever & Ducré luminaires special?

What is the difference between LED, PAR16, QT14 and MR16?
These terms describe the lighting technology or lamp socket used:
- LED – permanently integrated LED module. Depending on the luminaire, a separate driver may be required; suitable accessories can be found on the product page.
- PAR16 – for replaceable GU10 lamps operating at 230 V. The lamp is not included, allowing you to choose the colour temperature and – depending on the lamp – the dimming option yourself.
- QT14 – for replaceable G9 lamps operating at 230 V.
- MR16 – for 12 V lamps; a suitable driver is required.

What does “Dim to Warm” or 2000–3000 Kelvin mean?
With Dim to Warm, both the brightness and the colour temperature change when the light is dimmed: from approximately 3000 K at higher brightness to an especially warm 2000 K when dimmed. This creates a particularly cosy lighting atmosphere – ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms as well as hospitality and hotel environments.
Which colour temperature is suitable for my application?
As a general guide:
- 2700 K – warm and cosy; particularly suitable for living and lounge areas.
- 3000 K – slightly clearer; often a good choice for hallways, kitchens and bathrooms.
- Dim to Warm (2000–3000 K) – flexible for rooms where both functional and very warm, atmospheric lighting is desired, such as living rooms, bedrooms or bathrooms.
For many LED versions, you can select the colour temperature directly when choosing the product. PAR16/GU10 luminaires are supplied without a lamp, so the colour temperature is determined by the GU10 lamp you choose.
