Withdrawal policy

Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Walter Häfner GmbH, Ostring 1, 97688 Bad Kissingen, Germany, info@elektro-haefner.de, phone: 0971/2468) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement, for example a letter sent by post or an email. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs, except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract.

For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period expires.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. For goods that, due to their nature, cannot normally be returned by post, the return costs are estimated at a maximum of EUR 175.00.

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling that is not necessary to check the condition, properties and functioning of the goods. If you cannot return the services received to us in whole or in part, or only in a deteriorated condition, you may have to compensate us for the value accordingly.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following contracts:

• Contracts for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose production an individual selection or decision by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the consumer's personal needs.

Special notes

If you finance this contract with a loan and later withdraw from it, you are also no longer bound by the loan agreement, provided that both contracts form an economic unit. This is particularly assumed if we are also your lender or if your lender makes use of our involvement with regard to the financing.

If the loan has already been paid to us when the withdrawal becomes effective, your lender assumes our rights and obligations under the financed contract in relation to you with regard to the legal consequences of the withdrawal or return. This does not apply if the present contract concerns the acquisition of financial instruments, for example securities, foreign exchange or derivatives.

If you wish to avoid a contractual obligation as far as possible, exercise your right of withdrawal and also withdraw from the loan agreement if you are also entitled to a right of withdrawal for it.

Scope of application

This withdrawal policy applies to consumers residing in the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA), insofar as they are entitled to a right of withdrawal under the applicable statutory provisions.

For customers outside the European Union or the European Economic Area, in particular from Switzerland, a right of withdrawal only exists insofar as this is mandatorily provided for by law or voluntarily granted by us in individual cases. In these cases, a return may be possible on a voluntary goodwill basis - please contact us in advance.
