The Taio Round IP65 1.0 by Wever & Ducré stands for minimalist design and targeted lighting effects outdoors. Its slim, round shape integrates harmoniously into modern façades, entrance areas or terraces and creates discreet, stylish lighting accents.
The directed downward light provides pleasant, glare-free illumination and creates a safe and inviting atmosphere around the house. Perfect for enhancing paths, entrances or walls both functionally and aesthetically.
Thanks to its robust workmanship and IP65 protection rating, the luminaire is optimally protected against dust and water jets – ideal for permanent outdoor use. The integrated LED technology also provides long-lasting, energy-efficient light.
Important: The required driver for commissioning must be ordered separately, allowing you to adapt the installation flexibly to your requirements.

lightnox.de pro tip: If the driver is exposed outdoors without protection, we recommend the IP68 version. It is particularly robust and can supply up to two Taio spotlights.
If the driver is installed in a protected location (e.g. in a box or suspended ceiling), the dimmable 10W | 500mA driver is suitable. In this case, one driver is required per luminaire.
For stronger, clearly defined lighting, we generally recommend the 500mA version.

What is the difference between LED, PAR16, QT14 and MR16?
The designations indicate which lighting technology is used in the luminaire – and whether a separate power supply is required:
- LED → High-quality, permanently installed LED module with excellent light quality.
Recessed lights for walls and ceilings usually require a separate power supply – this can be found under “Recommended Accessories” on the product page.

PAR16 → For replaceable GU10 lamps that are connected directly to 230 V.
No separate power supply required.
- QT14 → For G9 lamps , also directly connected to 230 V.
No external power supply required.
- MR16 → For 12 V lamps that require a separate power supply .
The appropriate accessories are always linked on the respective product page.
This makes it easy to see whether a light is ready for use or whether accessories are still required.
What does "Dim to Warm" or 2000-3000 Kelvin mean?
When dimmed, luminaires with “Dim to Warm” technology not only change the brightness but also the color temperature – from warm white (3000 K) to a particularly cozy warm tone (2000 K).
This creates a homely atmosphere, as one would expect from classic
Incandescent lamps – ideal for residential, catering or hotel areas.
