STREX MODULE 2.0 Opal LED DALI
The STREX MODULE 2.0 Opal LED DALI is a longer linear lighting insert for the 48V STREX track system. The opal cover creates even, pleasantly diffuse light distribution and makes the module ideal for calm general lighting along the track.
Highlights at a glance
- For the 48V STREX track system: for flexible integration into the modular Wever & Ducré track system.
- Opal light cover: creates a homogeneous lighting effect without visible individual light points.
- DALI dimmable: enables convenient and precise brightness control within a compatible DALI lighting system.
- Two light colours: available in 2700 K or 3000 K.
- Two finishes: available in black or white.
- Linear light: the longer 2.0 version is particularly suitable for even illumination of larger areas.
- High-quality light: CRI ≥ 90 for natural rendering of colours and materials.
- Track accessories sold separately: the required STREX system components are added according to the planned installation.
Flexible General Lighting with DALI Control
Thanks to its longer form, the STREX MODULE 2.0 Opal integrates discreetly into the track and creates a calm, broad lighting effect. It is ideal as base lighting and can be combined with pendant lights or directional spotlights within a STREX lighting concept.
The DALI version offers additional flexibility for lighting control and is especially useful when different brightness levels or lighting moods are required within a room.
Conclusion
The STREX MODULE 2.0 Opal LED DALI combines even linear light with flexible DALI control. Its understated appearance, two light colours and choice of black or white make it a versatile solution for modern residential and commercial interiors.

Frequently asked questions about Wever & Ducré 🖤
Who is Wever & Ducré?
Wever & Ducré is a Belgian manufacturer of modern designer and architectural lighting. Its collections combine clean shapes with precise lighting technology and are designed for high-quality residential, commercial and hospitality environments.
What makes Wever & Ducré luminaires special?
Wever & Ducré stands for minimalist design, high-quality craftsmanship and precise lighting effects. Many collections are available in different sizes, colours, colour temperatures and beam angles. This allows the luminaire to be tailored precisely to the room and the desired lighting atmosphere.
What is the difference between LED, PAR16, QT14 and MR16?
These terms describe the lighting technology or lamp socket used:
- LED – permanently integrated LED module. Depending on the luminaire, a separate driver may be required; suitable accessories can be found on the product page.
- PAR16 – for replaceable GU10 lamps operating at 230 V. The lamp is not included, allowing you to choose the colour temperature and – depending on the lamp – the dimming option yourself.
- QT14 – for replaceable G9 lamps operating at 230 V.
- MR16 – for 12 V lamps; a suitable driver is required.
You can find information about any additional accessories required on the respective product page.
What does “Dim to Warm” or 2000–3000 Kelvin mean?
With Dim to Warm, both the brightness and the colour temperature change when the light is dimmed: from approximately 3000 K at higher brightness to an especially warm 2000 K when dimmed. This creates a particularly cosy lighting atmosphere – ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms as well as hospitality and hotel environments.
Which colour temperature is suitable for my application?
As a general guide:
- 2700 K – warm and cosy; particularly suitable for living and lounge areas.
- 3000 K – slightly clearer; often a good choice for hallways, kitchens and bathrooms.
- Dim to Warm (2000–3000 K) – flexible for rooms where both functional and very warm, atmospheric lighting is desired, such as living rooms, bedrooms or bathrooms.
For many LED versions, you can select the colour temperature directly when choosing the product. PAR16/GU10 luminaires are supplied without a lamp, so the colour temperature is determined by the GU10 lamp you choose.
Are suitable accessories or spare parts available from Wever & Ducré?
Suitable drivers, lamps, mounting components and other accessories are available for many Wever & Ducré luminaires. If accessories are required or recommended for a product, you will usually find them directly on the product page. We are also happy to assist you personally with spare parts or older collections.
Can lightnox help me choose the right Wever & Ducré luminaire?
Yes. We are happy to help you with the selection and configuration of suitable Wever & Ducré luminaires – for example regarding colour temperature, beam angle, dimming options, variants and system compatibility. This makes it easier to choose the right version for your room and application.
