To the configuratorWever & Ducré – REED 1.0 Plug & Play 24V bollard light
The REED 1.0 by Wever & Ducré is the right choice for anyone who wants to subtly structure outdoor areas while relying on a particularly delicate, understated lighting solution. With its slim, almost graphic shape, it appears light and unobtrusive, while the soft, diffuse light provides pleasant orientation. This creates lighting that calmly accompanies paths and areas while enhancing the overall look with a high-quality effect.
Key features at a glance
- Part of the 24V Plug & Play system: The REED 1.0 is part of the modular Wever & Ducré 24V system and can be flexibly expanded and individually adapted.
- Particularly delicate design: With its slim silhouette, the luminaire blends discreetly into outdoor areas and creates a calm, modern overall effect.
- Pleasantly diffuse light distribution: The opal lighting effect creates soft, low-glare light that is ideal for subtle path lighting.
- Perfect for stylish orientation outdoors: Whether along garden paths, terraces, or driveways – the REED 1.0 provides even, high-quality light guidance without harsh contrasts.
- Uncomplicated installation without groundworks: The Plug & Play system enables simple, flexible installation – ideal for retrofits and individual outdoor concepts.
- Important note on system setup: The driver is not included. A 24V transformer is required for operation and must be selected to match the total power of all connected luminaires. In addition, connection cables and connectors are required. All matching components can be found under Wever & Ducré Plug & Play 24V System.
- Designed for outdoor use: With IP65, the luminaire is reliably protected against weather influences and suitable for long-term outdoor use.
Conclusion
The Wever & Ducré REED 1.0 impresses with its particularly slim shape, calm lighting effect, and flexible integration into the 24V Plug & Play system. It is ideal for anyone who wants to subtly structure outdoor areas while relying on a high-quality, understated design. A well-thought-out choice for anyone who uses light deliberately and is looking for a stylish, long-term solution.

Frequently asked questions about Wever & Ducré 🖤
Who is Wever & Ducré?
Wever & Ducré is a Belgian manufacturer of modern designer and architectural lighting. Its collections combine clean shapes with precise lighting technology and are designed for high-quality residential, commercial and hospitality environments.
What makes Wever & Ducré luminaires special?
Wever & Ducré stands for minimalist design, high-quality craftsmanship and precise lighting effects. Many collections are available in different sizes, colours, colour temperatures and beam angles. This allows the luminaire to be tailored precisely to the room and the desired lighting atmosphere.
What is the difference between LED, PAR16, QT14 and MR16?
These terms describe the lighting technology or lamp socket used:
- LED – permanently integrated LED module. Depending on the luminaire, a separate driver may be required; suitable accessories can be found on the product page.
- PAR16 – for replaceable GU10 lamps operating at 230 V. The lamp is not included, allowing you to choose the colour temperature and – depending on the lamp – the dimming option yourself.
- QT14 – for replaceable G9 lamps operating at 230 V.
- MR16 – for 12 V lamps; a suitable driver is required.
You can find information about any additional accessories required on the respective product page.
What does “Dim to Warm” or 2000–3000 Kelvin mean?
With Dim to Warm, both the brightness and the colour temperature change when the light is dimmed: from approximately 3000 K at higher brightness to an especially warm 2000 K when dimmed. This creates a particularly cosy lighting atmosphere – ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms as well as hospitality and hotel environments.
Which colour temperature is suitable for my application?
As a general guide:
- 2700 K – warm and cosy; particularly suitable for living and lounge areas.
- 3000 K – slightly clearer; often a good choice for hallways, kitchens and bathrooms.
- Dim to Warm (2000–3000 K) – flexible for rooms where both functional and very warm, atmospheric lighting is desired, such as living rooms, bedrooms or bathrooms.
For many LED versions, you can select the colour temperature directly when choosing the product. PAR16/GU10 luminaires are supplied without a lamp, so the colour temperature is determined by the GU10 lamp you choose.
Are suitable accessories or spare parts available from Wever & Ducré?
Suitable drivers, lamps, mounting components and other accessories are available for many Wever & Ducré luminaires. If accessories are required or recommended for a product, you will usually find them directly on the product page. We are also happy to assist you personally with spare parts or older collections.
Can lightnox help me choose the right Wever & Ducré luminaire?
Yes. We are happy to help you with the selection and configuration of suitable Wever & Ducré luminaires – for example regarding colour temperature, beam angle, dimming options, variants and system compatibility. This makes it easier to choose the right version for your room and application.
