The round Lamina panel, with its white frame and white interior, emits a wide, warm white light both on the wall and on the ceiling. The additional background light creates a pleasant atmosphere and highlights the wall/ceiling. It contributes to better orientation in the dark and ensures greater safety. In its default setting, the panel shines at 20% brightness and 2,200 Kelvin. As soon as someone approaches, the built-in motion detector switches the outside light to 100% brightness and 3,000 Kelvin. After about 30 seconds, it returns to the saved light color and brightness. If desired, the orientation light can also be deactivated via the wall switch; in this case, the light is only switched on via the motion detector. The motion detector can also be deactivated; in this case, the light only switches on and off via the twilight sensor. 2,200 Kelvin is outside the visible range for most insects, so they are not attracted to the additional light source, making the light particularly insect-friendly.
