The CasaTherm Heatpanel HOTTOP is a long-wave IR-C heater (infrared dark heater) and impresses with its gentle and pleasant warmth. This infrared dark heater is the ideal device or for heating limited outdoor areas protected from the wind.
CasaTherm Heatpanel HOTTOP does not emit any light, but, like the sun, irradiates bodies and objects (or everything in the radiation field) with little heating of the air. In contrast, other heating technologies heat the entire environment before the user can even perceive the comfort.
The innovative technology of the CasaTherm Heatpanel HOTTOP series enables the targeted heating of defined areas.
They create a gentle, enveloping warmth that is very pleasant. The devices offer an elegant solution for architecturally sophisticated indoor and wind-free outdoor areas.
Ideal for completely wind-free areas of terraces, balconies and outdoor areas in restaurants that are only used temporarily.
The temperature-resistant silicone cable has a length of 1.8 m for a permanent connection; a suitable Schuko plug can be connected later.

The devices are designed for selective heating of defined areas and are not suitable as sole room heating. Due to the type of IR radiation (long wave), it is only effective outdoors in absolutely wind-free areas.

A residual current switch (FI switch) with a triggering current of 30 mA must be connected upstream of the device.
For indoor use, in order to comply with EU Regulation 2015/1188, the external control XTS16 or XT16 or an equivalent control must be used, which allows the device to be used via a room thermostat, a weekday control, an operating time limit and an “open window detection “ controls. Otherwise the device will lose the CE marking.
