But in 1979, just 100 years after the invention of the commercially available lightbulb and before the emergence of the internet as we know it today, it was quite revolutionary!
Our founder originally wanted to meet the needs of professional DJs who were conquering the nightclub scene with a combination of lighting and music inspired by John Travolta's "Night Fever." Forty years later, SLV GmbH is a conglomerate that successfully distributes lighting and lighting solutions in over 100 countries through 12 subsidiaries. Light remains our passion, and this is reflected throughout our entire supply chain: from in-house innovation to quality assurance and fair pricing.
