How are electricity costs calculated?

The calculation uses the following formula:

Watts ÷ 1000 × hours per day × days of use × electricity price per kWh

A ceiling fan usually consumes significantly less electricity than an air conditioner. However, it is important to note that a ceiling fan does not actively cool the room down. It creates a more pleasant feeling through air movement and can therefore be an economical alternative, especially in bedrooms, living rooms or home offices.

Ceiling fan or air conditioner?

An air conditioner makes sense when a room really needs to be actively cooled down. A ceiling fan, on the other hand, is particularly interesting if you want to create a more pleasant room climate with much lower electricity consumption.

For many living spaces, a quiet ceiling fan is therefore a very good solution - especially when the focus is not maximum cooling, but pleasant air movement, low operating costs and quiet living comfort.
