Can I dim Wever & Ducré lights?
Yes, many models are dimmable , both PAR16 and LED versions. The appropriate dimming type (e.g., leading edge or trailing edge) depends on the model and bulb. Look for the "dimmable" label in the product description.
Are there different colors of light?
Yes – the light color influences the effect and atmosphere of the light:
- For PAR16 models, the light color depends on the GU10 lamp used (e.g. warm white 2700 K, neutral white 3000–4000 K, daylight white from 5000 K).
- For integrated LED modules, the light color is usually factory-set (usually 2700 K or 3000 K).
Many Wever & Ducré LED lights offer the modern dim-to-warm function (dimming = warmer light color).
🔄 What is “Dim-to-Warm”?
“Dim-to-Warm” means that when dimming down, not only does the brightness change, but the light color also becomes warmer – similar to a classic light bulb.
- Bright = 3000 K (neutral warm white)
- Dimmed = 2000 K (very warm, cozy)
Ideal for creating an atmospheric atmosphere in living rooms, restaurants or hotels.
Are there spare parts or bulbs available?
For PAR16 models, you can use standard GU10 LED bulbs. For LED models, we are happy to advise you on repair or replacement – however, their lifespan is usually very long and maintenance is rarely required.
