Wever & Ducré – PALOS ROUND 1.0 LED Bollard Light excl. Base
The PALOS ROUND 1.0 from Wever & Ducré is the right choice for anyone who wants to stylishly structure outdoor areas and illuminate paths with a calm, high-quality lighting effect. The downward, one-sided light emission creates targeted, low-glare lighting that provides orientation and simultaneously enhances the overall architectural impression. This means the outdoor area is not just functionally lit, but consciously designed and thoughtfully crafted to a high standard.
Highlights at a Glance
- Ideal for stylish path lighting: The downward, one-sided light emission ensures a directed, pleasant light distribution and is perfectly suited for discreetly and elegantly illuminating paths, driveways, or garden areas.
- Reduced design for modern outdoor areas: The clear design and matte, powder-coated surface give the luminaire a calm, architectural effect that harmoniously integrates into high-quality outdoor concepts.
- Pleasant warm white lighting effect: With 2700 or 3000 Kelvin, the luminaire creates a warm, inviting atmosphere that doesn't harshly illuminate outdoor surfaces but stages them stylishly.
- Flexible planning due to different base heights: The base is not included in the scope of delivery and can be ordered separately in various suitable heights. This allows the lighting solution to be optimally adapted to the path layout, planting, or architectural conditions.
- Designed for outdoor use: With IP65, the luminaire is reliably protected against weather influences and is therefore ideally suited for continuous outdoor use.
- High-quality, long-lasting LED technology: The permanently installed LED ensures a consistently harmonious lighting effect and reliable use. The control gear can be replaced by the end user.
Conclusion
The Wever & Ducré PALOS ROUND 1.0 is a stylish solution for anyone who wants to not just illuminate paths and outdoor areas, but also enhance their design. It combines a clear, modern form with targeted light guidance and high everyday suitability for outdoor use. A convincing choice for anyone who values architectural tranquility, quality, and a long-term harmonious design even outdoors.

Frequently asked questions about Wever & Ducré 🖤
Who is Wever & Ducré?
Wever & Ducré is a Belgian manufacturer of modern designer and architectural lighting. Its collections combine clean shapes with precise lighting technology and are designed for high-quality residential, commercial and hospitality environments.
What makes Wever & Ducré luminaires special?
Wever & Ducré stands for minimalist design, high-quality craftsmanship and precise lighting effects. Many collections are available in different sizes, colours, colour temperatures and beam angles. This allows the luminaire to be tailored precisely to the room and the desired lighting atmosphere.
What is the difference between LED, PAR16, QT14 and MR16?
These terms describe the lighting technology or lamp socket used:
- LED – permanently integrated LED module. Depending on the luminaire, a separate driver may be required; suitable accessories can be found on the product page.
- PAR16 – for replaceable GU10 lamps operating at 230 V. The lamp is not included, allowing you to choose the colour temperature and – depending on the lamp – the dimming option yourself.
- QT14 – for replaceable G9 lamps operating at 230 V.
- MR16 – for 12 V lamps; a suitable driver is required.
You can find information about any additional accessories required on the respective product page.
What does “Dim to Warm” or 2000–3000 Kelvin mean?
With Dim to Warm, both the brightness and the colour temperature change when the light is dimmed: from approximately 3000 K at higher brightness to an especially warm 2000 K when dimmed. This creates a particularly cosy lighting atmosphere – ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms as well as hospitality and hotel environments.
Which colour temperature is suitable for my application?
As a general guide:
- 2700 K – warm and cosy; particularly suitable for living and lounge areas.
- 3000 K – slightly clearer; often a good choice for hallways, kitchens and bathrooms.
- Dim to Warm (2000–3000 K) – flexible for rooms where both functional and very warm, atmospheric lighting is desired, such as living rooms, bedrooms or bathrooms.
For many LED versions, you can select the colour temperature directly when choosing the product. PAR16/GU10 luminaires are supplied without a lamp, so the colour temperature is determined by the GU10 lamp you choose.
Are suitable accessories or spare parts available from Wever & Ducré?
Suitable drivers, lamps, mounting components and other accessories are available for many Wever & Ducré luminaires. If accessories are required or recommended for a product, you will usually find them directly on the product page. We are also happy to assist you personally with spare parts or older collections.
Can lightnox help me choose the right Wever & Ducré luminaire?
Yes. We are happy to help you with the selection and configuration of suitable Wever & Ducré luminaires – for example regarding colour temperature, beam angle, dimming options, variants and system compatibility. This makes it easier to choose the right version for your room and application.
