DOMY on STREX 1.0 Designer Spotlight for the STREX Track System
The DOMY on STREX 1.0 by WEVER & DUCRÉ combines clean architectural design with the flexibility of a modern track system. Its compact form has a calm, premium appearance and integrates especially well into carefully designed residential and commercial interiors. The luminaire creates accents without visually dominating the room, supporting an interior concept in which design and lighting effect work together.
Key features at a glance
- Precisely adjustable: the movable light head enables targeted light direction and makes DOMY ideal for accent lighting, artwork, furniture and selected room zones.
- Reduced design language: the compact form appears modern, calm and refined, particularly in clean architectural interiors.
- High-quality light: CRI 90 provides natural and pleasant color rendering where materials and spatial atmosphere matter.
- Flexible control: depending on the version, the luminaire can be used conventionally or integrated into a professional lighting control system.
- Part of a flexible system: within the STREX track system, DOMY can be positioned freely and adapted later if the lighting concept changes.
Conclusion
The WEVER & DUCRÉ DOMY on STREX 1.0 is a strong choice for anyone looking to combine high-quality lighting, clean forms and long-term flexibility. It remains visually restrained while offering precise light direction for modern, carefully planned interiors.
lightnox.de professional tip: DOMY works particularly well when several spotlights are aimed at different zones within a room. This creates a calm, professionally layered lighting effect without the luminaires themselves dominating the architecture.

Frequently asked questions about Wever & Ducré 🖤
Who is Wever & Ducré?
Wever & Ducré is a Belgian manufacturer of modern designer and architectural lighting. Its collections combine clean shapes with precise lighting technology and are designed for high-quality residential, commercial and hospitality environments.
What makes Wever & Ducré luminaires special?
Wever & Ducré stands for minimalist design, high-quality craftsmanship and precise lighting effects. Many collections are available in different sizes, colours, colour temperatures and beam angles. This allows the luminaire to be tailored precisely to the room and the desired lighting atmosphere.
What is the difference between LED, PAR16, QT14 and MR16?
These terms describe the lighting technology or lamp socket used:
- LED – permanently integrated LED module. Depending on the luminaire, a separate driver may be required; suitable accessories can be found on the product page.
- PAR16 – for replaceable GU10 lamps operating at 230 V. The lamp is not included, allowing you to choose the colour temperature and – depending on the lamp – the dimming option yourself.
- QT14 – for replaceable G9 lamps operating at 230 V.
- MR16 – for 12 V lamps; a suitable driver is required.
You can find information about any additional accessories required on the respective product page.
What does “Dim to Warm” or 2000–3000 Kelvin mean?
With Dim to Warm, both the brightness and the colour temperature change when the light is dimmed: from approximately 3000 K at higher brightness to an especially warm 2000 K when dimmed. This creates a particularly cosy lighting atmosphere – ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms as well as hospitality and hotel environments.
Which colour temperature is suitable for my application?
As a general guide:
- 2700 K – warm and cosy; particularly suitable for living and lounge areas.
- 3000 K – slightly clearer; often a good choice for hallways, kitchens and bathrooms.
- Dim to Warm (2000–3000 K) – flexible for rooms where both functional and very warm, atmospheric lighting is desired, such as living rooms, bedrooms or bathrooms.
For many LED versions, you can select the colour temperature directly when choosing the product. PAR16/GU10 luminaires are supplied without a lamp, so the colour temperature is determined by the GU10 lamp you choose.
Are suitable accessories or spare parts available from Wever & Ducré?
Suitable drivers, lamps, mounting components and other accessories are available for many Wever & Ducré luminaires. If accessories are required or recommended for a product, you will usually find them directly on the product page. We are also happy to assist you personally with spare parts or older collections.
Can lightnox help me choose the right Wever & Ducré luminaire?
Yes. We are happy to help you with the selection and configuration of suitable Wever & Ducré luminaires – for example regarding colour temperature, beam angle, dimming options, variants and system compatibility. This makes it easier to choose the right version for your room and application.
