HEXO by Wever & Ducré: six sides with a character of their own
HEXO lights by Wever & Ducré are recognisable by their hexagonal shape. Flat sides and clean edges define the housing; different surfaces stand out as the viewing angle and light change. HEXO brings distinctive geometry to a room without relying on decorative details.
The series brings together ceiling lights, wall lights, pendant lights and track lights in a shared design. This makes it particularly appealing for open-plan living: pendants can highlight the dining table, surface-mounted lights can illuminate the kitchen and wall lights can complement a seating area. Each has a different lighting role, while the design language stays consistent.
What makes the HEXO series distinctive?
A shape that connects spaces
The hexagonal housings echo the straight lines of furniture and architecture. A single HEXO creates an accent; arranged in a row, it becomes a recurring motif. Different mounting options allow that motif to continue throughout the room.
Focused light for different tasks
Ceiling and pendant models direct their light towards the surfaces below. Wall lights add accents on the wall. This lets you coordinate table lighting, work areas and the room's atmosphere within one lighting family.
Choose your own lamp
PAR16 and PAR11 versions use replaceable lamps. Selecting a suitable lamp lets you influence the lighting effect and replace the lamp later. With LED models, you choose the lighting specification when selecting the luminaire.
Individually, in groups or on a track
HEXO pendants can be planned individually or in groups using compatible canopies. On Track models bring the pendant form to a compatible powered track; HEXO on STREX adds a compact luminaire for the STREX system.

HEXO ceiling lights: clean outlines below the ceiling
HEXO surface-mounted ceiling lights are suitable when you want the body to remain visible and have not planned a ceiling cut-out for a downlight. Their geometric housings create a deliberate accent. Position is key to light distribution: plan the lights around circulation routes, furniture and the surfaces you want to illuminate.
HEXO CEILING with a replaceable lamp
The HEXO CEILING 1.0 PAR16 creates a single point of light. The HEXO CEILING 2.0 PAR16 groups two downward-facing light sources. Both take suitable GU10 lamps. For dimmable light, the lamp and dimmer must be compatible.
HEXO LED and HEXO mini
HEXO CEILING 1.0 LED and HEXO 2.0 LED offer the characteristic shape with integrated LED technology. The HEXO mini 1.0 PAR16 is a compact alternative with a replaceable lamp if you want a more discreet interpretation of the hexagonal form.
HEXO MINI wall lights: shape the wall with light
HEXO MINI wall lights add a lighting effect that works particularly well on open wall surfaces. They can define a hallway, complement a seating area or supplement ceiling lighting in a bedroom.
The HEXO MINI 1.0 PAR16 emits light in one direction. The HEXO MINI 2.0 PAR16 shines upwards and downwards, creating an up-and-down lighting effect. The width and definition of the beams also depend on the selected lamp and the distance to adjoining surfaces.
HEXO pendant lights: a lighting zone above a table or counter
As a pendant light, HEXO brings its geometric form to eye level. Single pendants create focused accents; several lights form a row above a counter or a group above a dining table. Different suspension heights can loosen up the arrangement, while a shared height emphasises a calm, linear composition.
HEXO pendant 2.0 and 3.0
The HEXO pendant 2.0 PAR16 and 3.0 PAR16 let you choose a suitable lamp separately. The HEXO pendant 2.0 LED and 3.0 LED have integrated LED modules. Different body lengths let you coordinate the proportions with the ceiling height and furnishings.
HEXO mini as a slender pendant
The HEXO Mini 3.0 LED combines a delicate shape with integrated LED technology. The HEXO SUSPENDED mini 3.0 PAR11 and mini 5.0 PAR11 offer a slender pendant form with a replaceable PAR11 lamp. The longer version creates a more pronounced vertical line.
Plan for a compatible canopy: the canopies for the directly ceiling-mounted pendant models linked here are selected separately. This allows individual and grouped arrangements. Before ordering, check the included components and recommended accessories for the specific model.

HEXO track lights: position the light to suit the room
A track allows several lights to be arranged along a shared line. HEXO On Track is available as a pendant for this purpose. The bodies hang below the track and can bring light over tables or counters. HEXO on STREX, by contrast, has a compact body attached to the appropriate system adapter.
HEXO for the single-circuit system
HEXO on track 2.0 PAR16 and 3.0 PAR16 combine the larger pendant form with replaceable lamps. The slimmer HEXO mini on track 3.0 PAR11 and 5.0 PAR11 offer more delicate alternatives. These versions are intended for the Wever & Ducré single-circuit system.
HEXO for the three-circuit system
Dedicated versions of HEXO on track 2.0 PAR16 and 3.0 PAR16 are available for the three-circuit system. These are joined by HEXO MINI on track 3.0 PAR11 and 5.0 PAR11. The adapter must be compatible with the system.
HEXO on STREX
The HEXO on STREX 1.0 directs its light downwards. It can be combined with other compatible lights in the STREX system. The shop offers a non-dimmable version and a DALI-2 version. Tracks, feeds, power supplies and, where required, controls are added to suit the system.
Choose the track system first
Single-circuit, three-circuit and STREX versions are not freely interchangeable. Choose the system first, then the matching HEXO. Similar housings do not mean the adapters and power supplies are the same.
HEXO accessories: choose details to match your version
The collection also includes the HEXO inner cover and the HEXO MINI inner reflector. Both are accessories, not complete luminaires. They allow you to adapt the interior of compatible models. Before selecting them, check the matching luminaire and permitted lamp configuration.
For PAR16 and PAR11, the lamp dimensions matter as well as the base. The GU10 designation alone is not enough to identify a suitable lamp. Use the specifications and recommended accessories on the product page.
Frequently asked questions about the HEXO series
What sets HEXO apart from other lighting series?
The unifying feature is the hexagonal housing. It gives ceiling, wall, pendant and track lights a shared character, allowing you to meet different lighting needs within one coordinated family.
Which HEXO suits a dining table or kitchen island?
Pendant lights can illuminate the surface below and visually define the area. Choose their size, number and position to suit the shape of your table or island. Dedicated On Track versions are available for installation on a powered track.
Can I replace the lamp in HEXO myself?
The PAR16 and PAR11 models use suitable replaceable lamps. LED models have integrated modules and differ in this respect from versions with replaceable lamps. Follow the maintenance information for each product.
Are all HEXO lights dimmable?
No, this depends on the version. PAR16 and PAR11 require a dimmable lamp and a compatible dimmer. For LED models, the specified dimming method applies. HEXO on STREX is also available in a non-dimmable version.
Is a canopy included with the pendant lights?
For the directly ceiling-mounted pendant models listed here, a suitable canopy is added separately. On Track versions use the designated track adapter. Check the included components for the selected model.
Can I combine wall, ceiling and pendant lights?
Yes. The shared hexagonal shape creates a visual connection. Also coordinate finishes and lighting effects so that the lights contribute to a coherent interior scheme.
